Hi, I’m Audri, a self-taught artist from Yakima, Washington. I create detailed pencil drawings that capture the essence of my subjects, with each piece aiming to evoke emotion and foster a sense of connection. My work reflects my journey and my love for learning as I explore new techniques and challenge myself to grow with each piece I create.
For me, art is not just about the image—it’s about the deeper meaning behind it. My faith plays a big role in my creative process. Colossians 3:23 inspires me to strive for excellence in every piece, knowing that each one is an opportunity to glorify God.
This blog is a space where I’ll share my artistic journey, tips, techniques, and resources to inspire other artists and creatives. My goal is to offer insights that can help you grow in your craft, whether you’re just starting out or looking for new ways to improve. I also plan to explore topics around creativity, mental well-being, and how the two can go hand in hand for personal growth.
I’m passionate about creating art that reflects my cultural roots, including Chicano, Aztec, and Mexican-inspired portraits. I’ve also developed a deep love for faith-based artwork. Exploring these different styles has been a fulfilling journey.
In 2020, I became a mental health advocate with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) and donate a portion of every commission to support their mission of providing education and support for those affected by mental illness.
If you’re interested in commissioning a piece or learning more about my process, I’d love to hear from you. Please email me for more details—I’m excited to bring your vision to life!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you find inspiration and value here. Let’s embrace creativity together for growth, healing, and purpose.
